Australian rules 2.5 million 16.8 per cent
Horse racing 1.76 million 11.8 per cent
Motor sports 1.57 million 10.6 per cent
Rugby league 1.50 million 10.1 per cent
Cricket 942,500 6.3 per cent
Soccer 621,200 4.2 per cent
Harness racing 534,800 3.6 per cent
Basketball 526,000 3.5 per cent
Rugby union 446,200 3.0 per cent
Tennis 444,000 3.0 per cent
Dog racing 276,400 1.9 per cent
Netball 248,700 1.7 per cent
