Qld: Patroling police evactuate boarding house

Police evacuated a inner-Brisbane boarding house early this morning .. after seeing
smoke billowing from the front room.

A spokeswoman says they called firefighters to the two-story wooden building in Brunswick
Street around 2.15 am .. and it sustained only moderate damage.
