iDial Networks Announces Special Advisory Board.

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 8, 2000

iDial Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:IDNW), a rapidly growing Application Service Provider (ASP) of leading communication technologies, announced today the appointment of a special Board of Advisors.

They will assist the company in its launch of voice and Internet related communication products and services to the cable television industry. The cable television market currently reaches about 70,000,000 US subscribers and represents an extraordinary untapped revenue opportunity for the company.

Attending the National Cable Television Association (NCTA) annual convention in New Orleans, iDial Networks President and CEO George V. Stein stated, "I feel fortunate to be able to entice my good friends and colleagues, John Goddard, Paul Maxwell, and Bob Greiner, to advise our company in its launch of VoIP telephony services to an industry in which each advisor has made a significant contribution during his professional career."

John Goddard -- Mr. Goddard is a 34-year veteran of the cable and telecommunications industry having held key senior management positions in several large Multiple Systems Operators (MSO). Most recently, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Viacom's (NYSE:VIA) 2 million subscriber cable MSO and engineered its sale to TCI which is now part of AT&T (NYSE:T).

Mr. Goddard has been very active in the industry as well, serving as Chairman of the National Cable Television Association and President of the California Cable Television Association. A cable pioneer, Mr. Goddard currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cable Labs, TCI Satellite Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:TSATA), DIVA, and the industry's non-profit Walter Kaitz Foundation.

Paul Maxwell -- Mr. Maxwell is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Media Business Corp. In a career spanning 33 years, he has become the leading publishing entrepreneur in the cable TV and broadcast satellite industries. A co-founder of CableVision Magazine in 1975, he founded MultiChannel News in 1980, and later became founding President of X*Press Information Services, an electronic newswire service. He created CableFAX, a daily industry newsletter, and is the publisher of Sky Report, a satellite industry publication.

Mr. Maxwell was a co-founder of the Walter Kaitz Foundation, the cable industry's leading non-profit charitable enterprise, as well as a founding member of CTAM, the cable industry's marketing association. Recognized for his leadership role, he was named a cable pioneer in 1991, and is the National Cable Television Association's recipient of the prestigious Vanguard Award for Excellence in 2000 for his personal and business contributions to the industry.

Bob Greiner -- Mr. Greiner is a 35-year veteran of the cable and telecommunications industry, having served in senior management positions in sales and business development at Pico and Magnavox, leading industry manufacturers where he managed their worldwide sales forces. He also obtained franchises and built several cable TV systems, and founded one of the industry's first national manufacturers representative organizations.

Mr. Greiner is currently Vice-President of Business Development for DIVA, the industry's leader in Video On Demand systems and equipment. He was recognized as a Cable Television Pioneer in 1988, and is very active in industry organizations including the NCTA, Society of Cable Television Engineers (SCTE), and Cable Television Advertising and Marketing Association (CTAM).
